The Heart of Meals On Wheels 
MOW has about 70 volunteers per week who work as drivers and
deliverers or assistants in the kitchen, helping the cook with
meal preparation. We are always in need of new volunteers and
substitutes. The time commitment for kitchen workers is 8:30
a.m. to 11:00 a.m. one day per week. Drivers and deliverers
also commit to one day per week and arrive at the Family Life
Center by 10:45 a.m. to pick up meals. They deliver the meals
as teams of two, which takes 1 to 1 ½ hours depending
on the route. Prospective volunteers can call the main kitchen
telephone (440) 543-1405 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.
to 11:00 a.m. or leave a message anytime. Those interested in
volunteering in the kitchen may also call Rita Munday, Kitchen
